Summer Writing

Happy Independence Day! Writing, like quilting (see my Two Sisters Quilting Blog) is tough enough but then add good weather, family vacations and just plain dog days of summer laziness and the urge to write falters. I did however write a random chapter for a new book idea and that felt good. Read it aloud to my girls and they both found it funny and liked the characters. In fact, the character Savannah enjoyed most was the one I only intended to be a temp. So Claudia may stick around or perhaps could she be my heroine? I’ll have to get to know her better.
