Ghost Hunt at West Virginia Penitentiary Part 3 » Letter to the Warden

In a small room off the new admin lobby is a museum of sorts. This is a letter from an infamous prisoner in California requesting transfer from California to West Virginia Penitentiary. This is most of what I can read from the photo:
Dear Sir,
I was razed in the Michen & Wh eeling & worked at the race track with big Bill and Charlie Stoneman who put them big stones at the prison & on the road - you may know some of my kin folks God knows here been enough of us in & out of your place I’m a beenie brother from way back - Calif prison people had me in the hole for 14 years - they done told a lot of lies & built up so much fear that there in fear of what they made up to start - first time I stepped …?… & Calif has a transfer trips with other states - would you accept me at your place - I got 9 lifes & dont want out any more I’m a good worker & I give you my word Ill start no trouble - I’ve been in prison hallways over 30 years & never lied to you & never rated that should count for something some where -
