W.E.E. Ghosties will be traveling to southern Virginia this weekend to investigate reports of a haunted residence. The home which sits on property that can “almost” be considered an island was built in the 1930s and moved to the site some time later. It currently sits empty as it was recently purchased. A visitor has reported that he has feelings of being watched. One of our researchers has uncovered a lot of information about the prominent family that once owned the estate. When our investigation concludes we will share more details if the homeowner will allow. Updates to follow.

I love the subject of ghosts. In fact, every night after 1am or so in my house, there will be a prickly feeling on my arms and back .The hair on my arms will stand on end. Then, one of a couple of things will occur. My DVR will begin to change channels by itself, or fast forward, as well as hitting other buttons. The other thing that may also happen is one of my computers will simply shut off. Then, it will reboot.
My thinking was that another DISH user was seemingly watching tv at the same time every night that this happened and happened to be on my exact frequency. There is one other user across the street, but this never happens until 1AM or so and when I look across the street, the lights are off.
The computer could be a simple glitch, except for the fact it never does this except at this time. Very strange.
This relates also to an experience I had at Coral Castle. I walked up into the upper room of the tower, and a force knocked me over. My wife at the time caught me, and I could not stand for a few minutes. After going back down, we mentioned this to the people running the place and they admitted that this has happened uncountable times over the years. A ghost research team actually did EVP readings in the upper part of the tower and picked up readings as well.
I’m going to look at your other paranormal links now. You seem to have a bit of everything here. Nice job!
I am trying to locate a haunted hotel in Virginia that I was once told about. Unfortunately I can not remember where it is. Do you have any info to share ?
Hi there. W.E.E. Ghosties recently conducted a preliminary investigation at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. Some say it is haunted by ghosts of celebrities that have stayed there over the years. The only celebrity that I know of that might have died there was Adolph Coors of Coors brewery who supposedly jumped to his death from his hotel room window in 1929.
We did a twenty minute walk through of the lobby, sitting room and pool area. We did a couple of EVPs which did not reveal anything out of the ordinary. We plan to return during the off season when things are a bit quieter. At that time we will rent a room and stay the night for a more thorough investigation.
