2008 Valentine’s Fiction Contest

picture-155933.jpgSo I am planning to enter the Washington Post Magazine’s Valentine’s Day Fiction Contest. It should be a fun and interesting challenge: Write a short story of 1500 words or less based on a photograph. Of course, it is Valentine’s Day so we are talking love, romance, and broken hearts. Here’s the link: Contest

Wish me and my muse good luck!

It’s a pretty fun exercise. I entered last year and unfortunately didn’t place. The good news is that I was able to place the story (after several revisions) with Storyglossia.

So I’m onboard this year again.

    Good luck!
