NaNoWrimo 2007 Equals Success

2007 represented my second year participating in NaNoWriMo and my second success. I managed to meet my goal of 50,000 words. The novel currently titled “Leaving Lucy,” is still a work in progress and I hope to complete is prior to NaNoWriMo 2008. I also took on the role as Co-ML for my region which was v. exciting. Although the attendance level was not what I had hoped for, it turned out to be a blessing. The friendships I made in our little group are a blessing to me. Especially my Co-ML! We still meet at least once a month to catch up and even do some writing. Another Wrimo and I are finding out we too have a lot in common, from writing, to family, to ghosthunting..even our newly installed kitchens are identical! Weird! So NaNoWriMo 2007 was a success in more ways than one. I can’t wait for November 2008!
