A Weekend of Repairs

So this weekend, which was deathly hot by the way, we took down the gutters, removed the facia boards, stained and replaced with new facia, then put the gutters back up. Also had a bit of soffit repair as well. Looks pretty good for a couple of amatuers. I picked out new stain for the house at Lowes and today if the siding isn’t damp from last night’s storm I shall begin staining the walls on the back deck. I think I can handle most everything on the house but the high peaks for which I have a handyman in mind for the job. I also scraped and sanded a 12 pane bay window on the back deck. Only four more of those to go. Just finishing up my coffee and it is back to work. Much to be done on the house before we can rest and enjoy.
