A must read: Writer, Interrupted

For those of you who have faced an interruption in your life that has caused you to set aside the things you love, here is a link to a must read article on writer Christina Baker Kline’s blog. In the post Writer, Interrupted, writer Jill Smolowe tells her story of why she hasn’t been writing for nine months.  Jill and I have a lot in common. We both have experienced the recent loss of a loved one. In my case, two. But great loss that has the power to interrupt your life and stop you from moving forward comes in many forms. It may be a wayward child, a lost friendship, or an unforgivable act of deliberate cruelty. If you are a “Writer, Interrupted” Jill’s words might help.

Good luck!
