Experiment in 5/7/5

Inspired by Melanie Avila’s blog Hooku, Hoo Can Haiku, I decided to attempt my own experiment in 5/7/5. Too early to call myself a poet, but it was kind of fun and a nice way to kick start the morning writing session.

Short on words today
Thoughts spinning lies in my head
Waiting for a sign

A bird just flew into my window. There’s my sign. Time to write.
