Early Morning Visitor

Lucy discovered this little visitor early this morning. I did a cursory search for brothers and sisters but alas she was only one. Of course, as we have discovered over the years, baby Eastern Box Turtles tend to defy their reputation and can actually move along at a brisk pace.  Their beautiful camouflage also helps them to go undetected to even the most watchful observers. I took a few photos to document her visit and sent her on her way. Enjoy.
