Love at First Sight

She fell in love with him the first day they met. At first, she kept her distance watching from afar. She strolled by chatting with others just to see if he’d notice. He did, but he was shy. She liked that about him. She also liked his soft eyes and the way he tilted his head when he caught her looking at him. The first time he touched her on the hand she knew he would follow her anywhere, loving her, protecting her, and keeping her warm at night. That single touch sealed the bond between girl and dog forever.
