Flash Friday: Someone to Love

Postcard Art: A.L. Simpson, 1909 (U.S. public domain)

For today’s installment of Flash Friday I’m sending you away from Creative Procrastination. Postcard Shorts is an online publication featuring fiction short enough to fit on a postcard. I discovered this little gem a couple weeks ago and promptly submitted a piece of flash I had written back in July of 2010 when I first started experimenting with flash fiction. Someone To Love is a 100 word story dedicated to my daughter, Savannah, and the search for unconditional love. Enjoy!

Flash Friday P.S. – Kent Warren’s Backwoods, recently featured here as a serial installment of flash fiction, has been accepted for publication in an upcoming print anthology. More details to follow! If you have a piece of flash fiction you would like to see featured in a future installment of Flash Friday on Creative Procrastination, please see our submission form.
